WHO WE ARE
President, Jan Ledford-Fiorillo
Golfing since 2015
Jan has been self employed for 35 years creating multiple successful businesses through out her career. She discovered her passion for golf in June of 2015 when a dear friend persuaded her to join her in yoga followed by golf. New to the game, she quickly recognized the need for representation and organization of ladies golf at her local course and is the founder of Southern Oklahoma Ladies Golf Alliance, SOLGA. She currently works full time as a volunteer for SOLGA events and initiatives.
Since 2015, Jan has been instrumental in creating several new golf events to include: Ticked Off At Lyme Golf Tournament, bringing public awareness to tick disease and prevention, Red River Challenge, OK vs. TX, Ladies Golf Tournament, a fun border rivalry that alternates locations between Oklahoma & Texas, Pretty in PInk Coed Golf Tournament and Walkathon, recognizing breast cancer awareness. She is also responsible for acquiring the management of the historic Dunk ‘n Divot Ladies Invitational Golf Tournament, one of the longest running ladies amateur golf tournaments in the state of Oklahoma.
“Coming from 35 years as a woman in business, I am always looking for ways to use my experience and skill set to elevate the social and business landscape for women.” Jan Ledford-Fiorillo
Jan loves spending time with her family and especially her grandkids. She is a passionate animal advocate and currently shares her home with her 4 dogs, Duncan, Hugo, Chloe and Sawyer and 2 cats , Woody & Willow, Oh and the love of her life, her husband Mike. When she finds a rare moment with nothing to do, you will find her nose buried in a book. She loves golf even though she really isn’t very good.
Vice President, Cindy Harper
Golfing since 1997
Cindy has been a radiology technologist for the past 32 years. She is also the owner/operator of Southside Liquor in Duncan, OK. She was introduced to golf in the eighth grade and played on and off until 1997 when she began playing regularly. A former collegiate basketball player, Cindy brings her athleticism and sportsmanship experience to the organization. She is always ready to introduce young girls to the sport and teach new women about every aspect of the game of golf.
Cindy was one of the first to jump in when the idea of forming a ladies golf association was being discussed. She has been instrumental in building the SOLGA organization, every step of the way. Cindy’s entire family, including some of her siblings, are all golfers. Cindy has obtained an untold wealth of knowledge and experience about the game and about the golfer, on and off the course. She is sometimes referred to a “The Mayor”, (pssst don’t tell her) because she is well suited for the socializing aspect of golf. Cindy’s family founded the Chris Lane Memorial Golf tournament and 5K run that contributed to a memorial baseball field in Chris’s home town of Essendon Victoria Australia. Proceeds also created golf scholarships for several local youth golfers.
“I call golf with the girls, my Mental Health Days and wouldn’t trade for a minute my time spent doing my part to further the game of golf for women.” Cindy Harper
Outside of golf, Cindy enjoys traveling, family time and raising German Shepherds. Everyone at her local golf course knows her 4 dogs by name, Beau, Sammy, Otis and Jett.
Secretary, (currently vacant)
Treasurer, Annette Bullard
Golfing since 2014
Annette is an Enrolled Agent with H&R Block with 30 years experience. Her family owns and operates several H&R Block stores. Prior to her tax and accounting career, Annette was an Exercise Rider and Assistant Trainer in the Horse Racing Industry where she met her husband and accomplished jockey Brent. Brent caught the golf bug first and soon had Annette beating balls right along side him in their indoor practice range in their barn.
Annette brings pure professionalism to the SOLGA organization. She prepares the SOLGA tax returns and advises the board on tax law and accounting. Tax season keeps Annette buried at work but just as soon as April 15th rolls around, she is on the move getting her golf game back in step. It’s a good thing tax season is during winter months because Annette lives to be outdoors. It is often remarked, if you can’t get along with Annette Bullard, you cant get along with anybody. And it’s true. In addition to her professional skills and knowledge, Annette always brings levity to the game, even when she is being fiercely competitive. But don’t let her sense of humor fool you, she is dynamite in a small package.
Annette is passionate about any sport she endeavors to take on. She water skis and water boards in summer months, Snow skis in the winter. She is an avid cyclist both street and mountain biking. She enjoys cooking for her family and friends and she makes a mean lemon-cello martini
